This short is inspiring. People who have made careers out of their art describe creativity and venture into larger observations about the artistic life:
• art should be the procreation of thought and emotion
• no matter how much of a genius you are, there is no substitute for hard work and persistence.
Naturally enough, I suppose, given the subjects, there is the elevation of art and creativity into a mystic "thing" you either have or don't have. I see pure creativity as being the generation of something new such as the crystallisation of a new idea or the formation of a new object. Every human being is creative.
