Tony Zhou is making cutting edge movie analyses we should all be taking note of. In a few short minutes he shows us the benchmark method for displaying texts in film, emphasising cheap, efficient, elegant design.
An underlying problem I have with many of the less successful methods is the way they demonstrate how divorced many moviemakers are from reality and how much they expect viewers to accept. But on a positive note, it is wonderful to see brave experimentation.
