It's always fascinating for writers to listen to other writers being so frank about how and why they write. For Abi Morgan, writing is finding a way through a mental maze of possibilities. She says a writer of fiction must find something beyond the real. Being a scriptwriter, she doesn't consider herself to be an artist who in her mind holds on to a single creation. Instead, she creates the script which is the muse, the point of inspiration for all the makers of the film.
