The shoulder! They always get shot in the shoulder or the upper arm. I personally believe it's because it is the best place to look good while getting nursed. And the nurse doesn't have to touch any yucky bits. And the hero can still loom above her even while she is doctoring him. And if the nurse is male, he doesn't have to get too personal. And if the victim is female - who are we kidding? Women might get shot but they don't get nursed by heroes.
