The Crush is an Irish short film which was nominated for an Academy Award.
An 8 year old schoolboy is so besotted with his teacher that he challenges her boyfriend to a duel... to the death.
It was written and directed by Michael Creagh, and produced by Damon Quinn. Creagh cast his eight-year-old son Oran Creagh in the lead role of the story. Olga Wehrly played the teacher.

This is a fabulous movie, thank you very much, Henry. It's funny how good writing and good acting can somehow become more than the sum of the parts.
