"Pueblo"

Eve Richer & Ben Raznick |
Here's a bilingual webseries about an American who moves to a small town in Spain to work as an English teacher.
It documents the comedic exploits of a quirky American adapting to the culture of a Spanish farming village.
The creators, Eve Richer and Ben Raznick, have lived in Nicaragua, Argentina, and
Brazil. From October 2010 through May 2011 they worked as assistant
English teachers in La Puerta de Segura, Spain.
Annual festivals and celebrations serve
as the backdrop for many of the episodes, while the story explores
of the economic fabric of La Puerta de Segura, including the olive and
asparagus industries. Each installment of Pueblo features
a brief “brought to you by” message containing a component
of Spanish life. Local townsfolk appear as actors
in the webseries, giving the production a local flavor to go along with
the main “fish-out-of-water” narrative centered on American
Ben.
Here's episode one.
