This one's just for cricket lovers. The rest of you can safely move along.It used to be that all we had in the cricket movie department was Lagaan (2001). If you haven't seen that, hurry along to your nearest Indian shop. They either have it, or they can get it. But now we have another. Save Your Legs! Written by Brendan Cowell and directed by Boyd Hicklin, the film deals with an unlikely tour of India by an Australian cricket team from the suburbs of Melbourne.
The film stars David Lyons, Brenton Thwaites and Brendan Cowell, and is being distributed by Madman Entertainment.Save Your Legs! is an inspirational journey from the heart of Australia to the soul of India. It's the story of one man who refuses to lose his park cricket team to the realities of growing up. The film will be released in Australian cinemas on 24 January 2013.
